Watering Schedule

Arden Irrigation
All landscape beds, trees and turf areas are to be irrigated with a permanent and fully operational irrigation system providing
100% coverage. The HOA shall deliver irrigation water to each residential lot on a scheduled timetable. The lot irrigation system shall be automatically controlled at each residence by a time clock and have a rain or moisture sensor installed providing the ability to self-adjust the system based on weather conditions. Pressure regulation is required throughout the system to keep all irrigation heads within the manufacturer’s recommended operating pressure. This pressure is regulated by computerized irrigation zones within the community’s master irrigation system that only supply water to certain zones at pre-determined times throughout the week called “watering windows”. Each residential lot will have a specified watering window that is outlined in the Arden Residential Watering Schedule.

How often can I water my lawn?
The amount of watering is regulated by the South Florida Water Management District. In effect since March 2010, the Year-Round Landscape Irrigation Conservation Measures Rule (Chapter 40E-24, Florida Administrative Code) limits landscape watering to two days a week throughout the South Florida Water Management District, with a three-day-a-week provision for some counties. It applies in all cases when the source of water for irrigation is a utility, lake, pond, canal or well. The mandatory year-round rule is a component of the SFWMD’s Comprehensive Water Conservation Program, which encourages more responsible use of water resources. Arden lies within Unincorporated Palm Beach County, which is allowed a 3 day a week watering schedule.
